Job summary

The Rising Sun, Bashley, part of Fuller's, is seeking a creative Sous Chef to lead in the Head Chef's absence. You will craft seasonal, local dishes from fresh ingredients in a busy kitchen at New Forest's heart.

You will help develop menus, guide the kitchen team, uphold hygiene and food safety standards, and ensure every service runs smoothly. We value individuals who want to grow with us and contribute to our warm, family-like culture.

Qualifications

• Hygiene qualification required.
• Excellent food knowledge and understanding of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen in Head Chef's absence.
• Prepare fresh, seasonal dishes using local ingredients.
• Innovate and create new menu ideas for the kitchen team.
• Motivate and support the kitchen staff to perform at their best.
