Job summary

Three Horseshoes, part of Mitchells & Butlers, is seeking a Sous Chef. You’ll lead a kitchen section, train a team and step up in the Head Chef’s absence. This role sits within the Vintage Inns family, delivering great food with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

You’ll be driving targets, managing food orders, and ensuring the brand’s standards. Great opportunity for progression and skills development in a busy pub kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen leadership and running a section.
• Ability to train and inspire a team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Familiarity with branded menus and stock control processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive targets with your team and lead by example.
• Train and motivate staff to deliver food you’re proud of.
• Assist Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
• Oversee Chefs and wider kitchen team to deliver consistent results.
