Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is seeking a Sous Chef for the White Lion, part of Vintage Inns. You will run a section, train your team, and step up in the Head Chef’s absence to deliver great food and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef and ability to run a section.
• Ability to train and develop kitchen staff.
• Strong focus on health and hygiene compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the kitchen team during service.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering and stock control.
• Prepare and plate dishes to brand standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
• Mentor chefs and wider kitchen team for performance.
• Oversee that the team adheres to the Branded menu.
