Job summary

Prezzo Italian in the United Kingdom (South Ockendon) seeks a dynamic Sous Chef to lead a busy kitchen with the Head Chef, delivering high-quality Italian dishes with pace and energy.

You will coach a passionate team, drive stock control and food safety, and contribute to a fun, results-driven kitchen culture.

• Proven Leadership: Solid experience in a similar Sous Chef role within a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Operational Edge: You know your way around stock control, waste reduction, and food safety compliance.
• High Energy: A "can-do" attitude that motivates the team when the tickets are flying.

Responsibilities

• Heartbeat of the kitchen operations. You’ll partner with the Head Chef to set the pace, maintain elite standards, and keep the energy high.
• Master HACCP paperwork and coach the next generation of chefs, ensuring every plate is sent with pride and precision.
• Lead by example, training the team and enforcing safety, quality and consistency during busy service.
