Prezzo Italian is seeking a high-energy Sous Chef in Crawley Down to lead a busy kitchen and inspire a team of passionate hospitality people. You’ll work with the Head Chef to set the pace, maintain elite standards, and keep the energy high during service.

You’ll bring proven leadership in a fast-paced kitchen, strong stock control, waste reduction, and food safety. HACCP paperwork, coaching juniors, and sending every plate with pride and precision are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a sous chef role within a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Strong stock control and waste reduction practices.
• Solid understanding of food safety compliance and HACCP processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations in partnership with Head Chef, maintaining elite standards and high energy during service.
• Coach and develop junior chefs, ensuring every dish is prepared with pride and precision.
• Manage HACCP paperwork and adherence to food safety regulations to protect guests.
