The Rose & Crown Yealmpton is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our welcoming kitchen team. You’ll work under the Head Chef to maintain high standards, ensure precise dish specifications, and uphold Food Safety practices in a busy pub setting.

You will help adapt menus using our flexible writing processes to meet the needs of the business and guests, while supporting a collaborative, food-focused culture in the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a busy environment.
• Able to lead a kitchen team under Head Chef supervision.

Responsabilités

• Support Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and ensuring correct procedures for each dish are followed.
• Utilise flexible menu-writing processes to adapt the offering to business and guest needs.
• Maintain kitchen standards of cleanliness, order, and safety.

Set in the beautiful village of Yealmpton, The Rose & Crown is a much-loved pub with accommodation that's renowned for its food, cosy interior, and suntrap walled garden.
You'll be working in the South Hams, largely an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is abundant with magnificent scenery. You'll find breathtaking beaches, quality local food, history, culture, and enchanting woodland all moments away.

Are you aversatileSous Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you'll be working alongside passionate people, with locally sourced produce, to provide high quality food that delights our guests. As Sous Chef, you will support your Head Chef in leading our talented kitchen team while ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met. You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes, to help adapt our offer to meet the needs of our business and our guests.
