The Globe in Topsham, part of St Austell Brewery, is seeking a versatile Sous Chef to join a fast-paced kitchen team. You’ll support the Head Chef, ensuring recipes are followed precisely and stock controlled efficiently.

With locally sourced produce and a hands-on leadership style, you’ll help keep the kitchen running smoothly at peak times and contribute to menu writing and kitchen standards across our pubs.

Qualifications

• Versatile Sous Chef with experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to lead a kitchen team and support the Head Chef.
• Comfort with stock management and adapting menus.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef in leading the kitchen team.
• Ensure procedures and specifications for each dish are met.
• Utilise stock management systems to keep on top of supplies.

Are you a versatile Sous Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, with locally sourced produce, to provide high quality food that delights our guests. As Sous Chef, you will support your Head Chef in leading our talented kitchen team while ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met. You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes, to help adapt our offer to meet the needs of our business and our guests.
