Job summary

The Rose & Crown in Yealmpton is seeking a versatile Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. You will support the Head Chef in running a fast-paced kitchen, ensure each dish meets exact specifications, and help adapt the menu to our business and guests.

Qualifications

• Versatile Sous Chef with experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead a team when needed.

Set in the beautiful village of Yealmpton, The Rose & Crown is a much-loved pub with accommodation that’s renowned for its food, cosy interior, and suntrap walled garden.

You’ll be working in the South Hams, largely an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is abundant with magnificent scenery. You’ll find breathtaking beaches, quality local food, history, culture, and enchanting woodland all moments away.

Are you aversatileSous Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, with locally sourced produce, to provide high quality food that delights our guests. As Sous Chef, you will support your Head Chef in leading our talented kitchen team while ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met. You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes, to help adapt our offer to meet the needs of our business and our guests.
