Job summary

Prezzo Italian is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef to lead a busy kitchen in Norton Green. You will partner with the Head Chef to set the pace, maintain elite standards, and inspire a team of hospitality professionals during every service.

You’ll coach staff, manage stock, enforce HACCP, and ensure every plate leaves the pass with pride. This role blends leadership, speed, and a passion for authentic Italian food in a lively, teamwork-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a Sous Chef role within a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Experience with HACCP and food safety compliance.
• Strong stock control and waste reduction knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team during service and ensure high standards.
• Coach and develop junior kitchen staff.
• Maintain strict HACCP documentation and food hygiene practices.
• Work with Head Chef to plan menus and controls.
