Job summary

Marston's is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team and act as second in command to the Head Chef, ensuring hot, quality food is presented to the pass every time. You’ll run the line during service and support the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.

You’ll oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team to develop their skills, with opportunities to progress through our internal career pathway and access a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous branded kitchen experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef.
• Experience assisting a Head Chef and running a kitchen line during service.
• Strong leadership and passion for high standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be in action in the kitchen, second to the Head Chef and cover shifts as needed.
• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Run the line during service and maintain high standards of food and service.
• Oversee and motivate the kitchen team to develop skills.
