Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team and lead by example, ensuring hot, quality food is presented to the pass every time. You’ll serve as second in command to the Head Chef, covering shifts when they’re away and driving top standards across the kitchen.

You’ll oversee the line during service, support the Head Chef in daily operations, and help develop the kitchen team’s skills while maintaining exceptional food and service standards.

Qualifications

• Branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef.
• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - helping to develop their skills.
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Second in command to the Head Chef, covering shifts as needed.
• Run the line during service and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Support the Head Chef in managing all kitchen activities.
• Develop and mentor the kitchen team to enhance skills and performance.
