As a Solar Electrician, you will be a key technical member of the installation team, responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining solar PV systems, battery storage systems, and associated electrical infrastructure. You will ensure all work meets technical standards, health and safety regulations, and customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and electrical components on domestic properties.
  • Carry out electrical wiring, inverter and battery installation, connection to distribution boards, and system testing in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys, prepare installation layouts, and identify any electrical or structural considerations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless installations.
  • Complete commissioning and system hand-over, including explaining system functions to customers.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults or issues in existing solar and electrical installations.
  • Maintain accurate job records, including certification and commissioning documentation.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and industry regulations.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and vans are maintained to company standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, representing the company professionally on site.
