Job summary

IRIS Software Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Professional Services team and lead the successful implementation of IRIS software solutions for our customers.

You’ll take ownership of projects from planning through to delivery, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure implementations stay on track, risks are managed effectively, and customers get the best possible value from their IRIS solution.

Qualifications

• Strong end-to-end project management experience in software or complex delivery environments.
• Experience delivering Payroll or HR software implementations is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies and stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of software implementation projects, including complex or high-profile projects.
• Work closely with customers to understand their priorities, requirements and desired outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and manage project plans, timelines, resources, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate internal teams and subject matter experts to ensure projects are appropriately resourced and delivered effectively.
• Proactively manage customer expectations through clear, consistent and timely communication.
• Identify potential challenges early and take action to keep delivery on track.
• Ensure projects follow agreed governance, quality standards and delivery methodologies.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting and CRM records.
• Provide clear visibility of project progress, risks, issues and overall delivery health.
• Support smooth and professional project transitions and customer handovers.
