Job summary

IRIS Software Group is seeking an Implementation Consultant with hands-on payroll experience to help customers implement our SaaS payroll solutions. You will manage configuration, data migration, testing and go-live, while translating payroll requirements into systems setups and workflows.

This client-facing role requires juggling multiple projects and collaborating with Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Success. Travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll experience and understanding of payroll processes.
• Experience in SaaS/software implementation, onboarding or technical consulting.
• Experience working directly with customers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Experience with payroll software or systems.
• Understanding of software configuration, workflows and integrations.
• Experience with APIs, ETL, data migration or data transformation.
• Confidence managing several customers, projects or priorities.
• Ability to explain software and technical information clearly.
• Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Confluence or similar tools would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll software implementations for new and existing customers.
• Understand customers’ payroll processes and requirements and translate these into the right software setup.
• Configure SaaS products, workflows and customer-specific requirements.
• Support payroll data migration, integrations and testing.
• Work with APIs, ETL processes and data transformation where required.
• Guide customers through user acceptance testing and readiness for go-live.
• Deliver training and explain software clearly to customers.
• Support customers during go-live and their transition into ongoing support.
• Manage multiple customer projects and priorities at the same time.
• Work with Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Success to resolve issues and deliver successful outcomes.
• Keep customers informed about progress, timelines, risks and issues.
• Travel to customer sites when required.
