A global animal-health technology firm in Edinburgh is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their product development team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality software solutions in an agile environment. Applicants should possess strong skills in C#, cloud-native technologies, and REST APIs, along with a degree in Computer Science or comparable experience. The position offers a competitive salary, a flexible working environment, and the chance to work with innovative technology.
Covetrus is looking for a talented software engineer to join our UK product development team. Covetrus is a global animal-health technology and services company. We have decades of experience supporting the whole of the veterinary industry covering everything from product wholesale to practice management solutions (PMS). The UK team is responsible for the development of a number of projects that support and build on our global PMS including cloud-based tools and APIs as well as mobile products. As a global business, Covetrus is pushing hard to develop the software side of our work and we need you to help us achieve our technology goals.
To achieve Covetrus’ goal of delivering new technology to our customers we need a passionate engineer with a proven ability to deliver quality software as part of an agile, multi-disciplinary team. You should be comfortable taking defined work tasks from the team leads and producing work autonomously. In this post-pandemic world, Covetrus has adopted a hybrid-remote working environment and, as such, touch-points with your team have changed and continue to evolve. You should be confident enough to work with that level of “at-home” independence while knowing your limits and when to engage with the right people.
Covetrus is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, protected Veteran status, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.
