Job description

You will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining scalable applications and solutions that align with our business objectives and enhance the user experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS services such as Cognito, API Gateway, DynamoDB and Lambda.
  • Collaborate with product managers solution architects and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate deployments and streamline the development workflow.
  • Utilise Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance and enhance functionality.
  • Take part in Agile ceremonies (planning review retro).
Qualifications
  • Experience with back-end API-first development (e.g. C# Core) and knowledge of modern web development frameworks and libraries along with solid experience delivering cloud-native solutions.
  • Motivation and passion for leveraging technology to create innovative solutions that solve real-world problems and enhance user engagement.
  • Ability to write clean maintainable and efficient code while embracing best practices in software development regarding testing etc.
  • You are comfortable operating in a cross-functional and distributed team i.e. remote code reviews and pair-coding.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills that allow you to troubleshoot issues effectively and optimise application performance in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Confidence with DevOps principles utilizing tools such as Azure DevOps for CI / CD and Terraform for infrastructure as code to streamline the development and deployment processes.
  • You are familiar with distributed version control systems (Git); Open API integration (Swagger Postman cURL) and Access Management (OAuth2 JSON Web Tokens).
