Job Title: Social Worker – Assessment Team

We are recruiting a Social Worker to join the Assessment and Staying Together 3 Team in Stafford. Role Responsibilities
  • Work with children and families requiring support under Child in Need or Child Protection
  • Use a restorative strengths-based practice to help families create sustainable change
  • Escalate cases into the PLO process where necessary to prevent court involvement wherever possible
  • Produce court reports and hold cases through legal proceedings until final orders are made
  • Provide continued statutory support for children in care, including those moving towards adoption
