Overview

Academics are searching for a Social Sciences teacher for one of our well-established schools in Wakefield. Responsibilities
  • Covering all aspects of Social Sciences including Sociology, Psychology, and Geography, across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
  • Supervising students’ behaviour and referring to the school’s behaviour management policy if required
  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards
  • Following the school safeguarding policies, ensuring a safe environment for the students
Qualities and Qualifications
  • Experience teaching Social Sciences up to A‑Level, particularly Psychology
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for making an impact on students’ lives
  • A relevant degree related to Social Sciences accompanied with a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to apply to one
