Job summary

Lord Search & Selection is recruiting an experienced Social Housing Specification Sales Manager to cover the North West and North East of the UK. You will develop specification opportunities and drive adoption of life-safety and technology solutions within housing associations, local authorities and related stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience selling a technical, building-related, safety or affiliated product into the Social Housing sector.
• Existing knowledge and relationships across Housing Associations, Local Authorities and/or Social Housing providers.
• Experience influencing specifications and managing a complex multi-stakeholder sales process.
• Track record of developing new business and converting specification opportunities.
• DBS check is required.
• Ability to engage with technical, commercial and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CPD sessions while nurturing relations with Housing Associations, Local Authorities and Social Housing providers.
• Identify and develop new specification opportunities from initial engagement to adoption.
• Influence decision-makers across technical, procurement, asset management, compliance, and commercial teams.
• Build relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, developers and other influencers.
• Identify refurbishment, regeneration and new-build projects for company products.
• Deliver product presentations and CPD-style activities.
• Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, technical and commercial teams to convert opportunities into revenue.
• Monitor the market, competitor activity and emerging opportunities in the region.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide pipeline reports.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships rather than transact-only sales.
