Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking a Specification Sales Manager – Hot Water Storage & Energy Management Systems to cover the North region, ideally near the M62 corridor. You will focus on social housing specifications while also engaging M&E consultants, architects and contractors on retrofit and new build projects.

Qualifications

• Must have new build, social housing or commercial specification experience.
• Experience selling to housing associations, local authorities or developers is preferred.
• Technical product experience with boilers, hot water systems, energy solutions or related controls.

Responsibilities

• Generate specifications with social housing market across housing associations and local authorities.
• Develop new business while maintaining key accounts in the specifier and contractor base.
• Field sales for hot water storage and energy management solutions.
• Cover both new build and retrofit projects.

The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Hot Water Storage & Energy Management Systems will involve:

• Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of hot water storage and energy management solutions
• 80% of your time will be spent generating specifications with social housing market via housing associations, local authorities, housebuilders, developers
• 20% commercial focused with M&E consultants, architects, contractors and installers
• Working on both new build and retrofit projects
• Turnover target tbd
• Good blend of account management and new business

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Hot Water Storage & Energy Management Systems experience with:

• Must have new build, social housing or commercial specification experience
• Ideally contact within housing associations, local authorities, developers, M&E consultants, contractors and installers
• Must have technical related product experience such as; boilers, hot water systems, energy systems, solar systems, smart controls, BMS, hot water storage, plumbing & heating controls, heat pumps, electrical heaters, air conditioning etc
• Self-starter, people person and relationship builder
