About This Opportunity

Location: Carlisle

Salary: £34,434 - £35,412 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Cumberland Council is looking for dedicated Social Care Workers to join our Adult Social Care team. In this role, you’ll carry out strengths-based assessments, develop personalised support plans, and work collaboratively with health, social care, and community partners to deliver meaningful outcomes for people across Cumbria.

We’re seeking individuals with a Level 3 qualification in Care (or equivalent experience), strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing. You’ll be part of a supportive team culture that values innovation, continuous development, and making safeguarding personal. Flexible working, county-wide travel, and opportunities for professional growth are all part of the package.

This role is available on a permanent basis.

This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is: Enhanced DBS check with Adults.
