A private client in Wales is seeking a Personal Assistant to help a teenage boy with ASD. Tasks include accompanying him to swimming sessions and supporting his hobbies. The ideal candidate should be dependable, patient, and able to work independently. This role requires a National Insurance number and offers flexible hours during term time and holidays. Training will be provided as necessary.
Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.
I am a teenage boy living in Mumbles. I have ASD; this can make me really anxious. I am looking for a PA to accompany me to help me carry on with my hobbies. I would like a male assistant to be able to take me swimming one evening a week, on either a Tuesday or a Wednesday, in term time, and twice a week during the holidays.

You will be formally employed by the Direct Payment Client which requires a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly with appropriate holiday pay calculated. A DBS will need to be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs are met by Swansea council.
