Job summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking a Provider Payment Team Leader to lead the day-to-day activities of the Provider Payment Team, ensuring accurate and compliant social care payments. You will supervise and develop staff, build strong relationships with care providers and Direct Payment recipients, and drive service improvements while supporting vulnerable communities in our communities across the county.

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Provider Payment Team
• Provide supervision, guidance and development for team members

• Resolve complex queries and challenging situations with effective communication
• Undertake financial investigations and complex calculations in line with policies
• Review and improve processes using data and insights to drive efficiency
• Support service improvements, performance monitoring and implementation of new policies and workflows
