Job summary

Hampshire County Council is recruiting a Provider Payments Team Manager to lead the Carer & Provider Payment Support Team, ensuring social care payments are delivered accurately, efficiently and in a way that supports positive outcomes for providers, carers and service users.

In this senior role you will inspire and develop teams, review processes, and drive improvements across the service while building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring clear communication.

Qualifications

• Senior management experience leading multiple sub-teams.
• Strong knowledge of social care payment processes and relevant legislation.
• Excellent organizational, planning and risk management skills.
• Evidence-based, data-driven improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ambassador for the Carer & Provider Payment Support Team and uphold high standards.
• Review and improve processes using data and insights to drive change.
• Lead end-to-end processes, service developments and improvements.
• Develop managers and teams with a culture of accountability and customer service.
• Build relationships with providers and recipients; resolve complex queries.
