Job summary

iSmash in Brighton is seeking a Mobile Phone Repair Technician to deliver high-quality repairs and outstanding customer experiences. You will repair smartphones and tablets, including screens, batteries, cameras, and charging issues, while advising customers on options and upselling accessories.

This role reports to the In-Store Manager and sits in a fast-paced retail setting where technology passion and attention to detail shine.

Qualifications

• Proven experience repairing smartphones and tablets, including major brands (Apple, Samsung, Google).
• Strong customer service skills with confidence speaking to customers.
• High attention to detail when handling devices and components.
• Genuine interest in mobile technology, gadgets and repairs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality repairs and excellent customer experiences.
• Repair smartphones/tablets (screen/battery/camera, charging issues, etc.).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot device issues using technical judgment.
• Provide clear repair options and guidance to customers.
• Suggest suitable accessories and protection products for customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe workspace.
• Follow repair standards and safety guidelines at all times.
