Job summary

SSE Smart Buildings is seeking a Smart Buildings Support Engineer to join our BMS Support team on a field-based basis across Oxford, Bicester, Northampton, Swindon and Reading. You will carry out PPM activities, respond to breakdowns and drive energy performance improvements while expanding your skills and knowledge.

The role requires solid experience with Trend or Tridium BEMS/HVAC Building Controls, strong communication with customers and service providers, a proactive customer-first approach,

Qualifications

• Experience with Trend or Tridium BEMS/HVAC building controls.
• Excellent communication with customers and external service providers.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional approach.
• Willingness to travel and participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out BMS maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Respond to reactive breakdowns during core hours and on-call shifts.
• Identify improvements and energy performance enhancements.
• Provide detailed reports of on-site activities.
