Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Skilled Welder to join a Telford-based fabrications business. The role involves fabricating specialized stainless-steel components using MIG and TIG welding techniques. This temporary position offers a pay rate of circa £15 - £18 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and knowledge of both MIG and TIG Welding Techniques is ESSENTIAL.
• Experience of working with Stainless Steel and/or aluminum will be ESSENTIAL.
• MUST be available for an immediate start.

Skilled Welder

Location: Telford
Duration: Temporary (ongoing)
Salary: circa £15 - £18 per hour depending on experience
Hours of work: Monday – Friday DAYS

We are looking for a skilled Mig /Tig Welder to join a Telford based fabrications business to provide some temporary cover potentially for the rest of 2025.

You will be working as part of a small fabrications business in a friendly environment.

Main Duties

• Fabricating specialised stainless-steel components
• Using Mig and Tig welding techniques
• Performing regular Weld quality checks
• Fabricate parts according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently

Required Experience

• Previous experience and knowledge of both MIG and TIG Welding Techniques is ESSENTIAL
• Experience of working with Stainless Steel and/or aluminum will be ESSENTIAL
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent eye for detail
• MUST be available for an immediate start
