Job summary

Jungheinrich UK Limited is seeking a Site Supervisor for our customer service engineering team in Ellesmere Port. You will assist the Area Service Manager to meet site performance goals, oversee preventative maintenance, and manage repairs of materials handling equipment.

The ideal candidate is mechanically and electrically biased, with a clean driving license, and experienced in customer-facing roles. You will be required to work flexibly, including outside normal hours, to support the site and

• Mechanically and electrically biased engineer background from maintenance/service roles.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
• Repair of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
• Accurately complete service reports and timesheets.
• Manage and control parts stock.
• Build customer relationships and meet contractual obligations.
• Contribute to customer review meetings.
• Develop and coach the team using site audit tools for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with after sales to provide accurate repair estimates.
• Identify chargeable follow-up work and communicate to customers.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
