Job summary

Landmarc Support Services is seeking a Site Operative to look after training estate facilities, including cleaning accommodation blocks and maintaining grounds and buildings to keep a safe, efficient and sustainable place for the Armed Forces to stay while they train. Hours are 08:00 - 16:00, on-site, with shifts discussed at interview.

A driving licence is essential due to rural location; no prior experience required, just a can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
• Familiarity with Health and Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately.
• Basic IT skills and use of a tablet.
• A valid UK driving licence is essential due to rural site location.

Responsibilities

• Look after the camp's general cleanliness and ensure facilities are fit for purpose.
• Clean offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks (ablutions, showers, etc.).
• Carry out sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
• Perform general building maintenance and basic grounds tasks.
• Manage stock and complete documentation in IT and paper systems.
• Fulfill any other duties as required.

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train. Role Details

Salary: £25,875.72 + £1,127.50 Variable Days Allowance

Location: Nesscliff Camp, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY4 1BH

Contract: Permanent / Full-time / On-site

Hours: 08:00 - 16:00 from Monday to Sunday. Shifts to be discussed at interview.

What You'll Do

• Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• General building maintenance
• Basic grounds maintenance
• Stock management tasks
• Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
