Job summary

Landmarc Support Services is seeking a Site Operative to join our team at Westdown Camp. You will look after training estate facilities, keeping accommodation blocks, offices and grounds clean and safe for Armed Forces use during training sessions.

No prior experience is required; a can-do attitude and willingness to learn are valued. The role runs Monday to Friday from 08:00–16:00 (Fridays 08:00–15:30), at Westdown Camp, Salisbury, SP3 4RS. Security clearance (BPSS/SC) may apply.

Qualifications

• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Ability to complete documentation.
• Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet.
• Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential).

Responsibilities

• Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed

Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

• Hours:Monday to Friday, between 08:00 - 16:00, (08:00 - 15:30 Fridays)
