Landmarc Solutions currently seeks a Site Operative to join our dedicated team at Westdown Camp, Salisbury. You will look after training estate facilities, clean accommodation blocks, and help maintain grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient place for Armed Forces personnel to stay during training.

No prior experience is required—just a can-do attitude. Hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00 (08:00–15:30 Fridays).

Qualifications

• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge required.
• Familiarity with Health and Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and occupants.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Basic IT skills and comfort using a tablet or similar device.
• Valid UK driving licence due to rural site location.

Responsibilities

• Look after the camp's general cleanliness and keep it fit for purpose.
• Clean offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming tasks.
• Stock management and relevant documentation tasks.
• Carry out additional site duties as required.

Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

Role Details

• Salary: £25,875.72
• Location: Westdown Camp, Tilshead, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP3 4RS
• Contract: Permanent / Full-time / On-site
• Hours: Monday to Friday, between 08:00 - 16:00, (08:00 - 15:30 Fridays)

What You'll Do

• Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Stock management tasks
• Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed

Essential
