Landmarc Support Services is recruiting a Site Operative to maintain Training Estate facilities at Barry Buddon Training Camp, Carnoustie, Angus. You will clean accommodation blocks, manage grounds and buildings, and perform regular inspections using an electronic tablet.

Qualifications

• Essential housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
• Familiarity with Health and Safety procedures.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately.
• Basic IT skills and experience using a tablet.
• Valid UK driving licence required due to rural site location.

Responsibilities

• Look after the camp's general cleanliness and ensure facilities are fit for purpose.
• Handover and take back site facilities from users.
• Clean offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks including ablutions and showers.
• Carry out daily, weekly and monthly tasks and inspections using an E-working tablet.
• Operate and maintain plant equipment; basic grounds/building maintenance.
• Stock management and documentation using IT and paper systems.

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.Landmarc offers excellent career progression and great benefits, no previous experience needed, just a great can do attitude!

Role Details

Salary: £26,910.75 + £1,127.50 Variable Days Allowance

Location: Barry Buddon Training Camp, Carnoustie, Angus, DD7 7RY

Contract: Permanent / Full-time / On-site

Hours: Monday - Sunday, 07:00 - 17:00. Shift patterns to be discussed in interview.

What You’ll Do

• Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
• Handover and take back site facilities from facility users
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
• Carry out multiple daily, weekly and monthly tasks and inspections using an E working tablet.
• Operation and maintenance of plant equipment (training will be provided)
• General building and basic grounds maintenance
• Stock management tasks
• Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
