Job summary

Landmarc Support Services Limited is seeking a Site Operative to join our dedicated team on a training estate. You will clean accommodation blocks, maintain grounds and buildings to ensure a safe and sustainable place for Armed Forces personnel during training.

No prior experience is required; a great can-do attitude is essential. The role includes general cleaning, basic grounds maintenance, stock management and documentation using IT and paper systems, with a focus on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Ability to complete documentation and use basic IT tools.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Look after camp general cleanliness and ensure facilities are fit for purpose.
• Clean offices, communal areas and accommodation blocks including ablutions and showers.
• Perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
• General building and basic grounds maintenance.
• Stock management and documentation using IT and paper systems.
• Carry out additional duties as required and adhere to health and safety practices.

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train. • Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• General building maintenance
• Basic grounds maintenance
• Stock management tasks
• Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to complete documentation
• Basic IT skillswith ability to use a tablet
• Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential)
