Job summary

Landmarc provides essential support services to enable Armed Forces training across the UK Defence Training Estate. We are seeking a hands-on caretaker for Barry Buddon Training Camp in Carnoustie, Angus, to maintain cleanliness, perform routine tasks, and support facilities management.

You will work 7:00–17:00, Monday to Sunday, with shift patterns discussed at interview. A UK driving licence is essential due to rural site location, and BPSS clearance is mandatory for all roles.

Qualifications

• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
• Ability to complete documentation.
• Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet.
• Ability to work in a diverse multi-tasking team environment.
• Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential).

Responsibilities

• Looking after the camp's general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
• Handover and take back site facilities from facility users.
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions and showers.
• Carry out daily, weekly and monthly tasks and inspections using an E working tablet.
• Operate and maintain plant equipment (training provided).
• General building and basic grounds maintenance.
• Complete relevant documentation using IT and paper systems.
• Carry out any other duties as needed.
