Job summary

Landmarc Support Services is recruiting a Site Operative at Halton Training Camp. You will maintain cleanliness in accommodation blocks and offices, and perform basic grounds and building maintenance to keep the training estate safe and functional for Armed Forces training.

The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, with shifts from 07:00 to 23:59. A UK driving licence is essential due to rural site location. A benefits package supports wellbeing and future security.

Responsibilities

• Look after the camp's general cleanliness and ensure it is fit for purpose
• Clean offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks including ablutions and showers
• Carry out sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
• Assist with general building maintenance
• Assist with stock management and keep records in IT and paper systems
• Complete any other duties as required

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train. Role Details

Salary: £26,875.72 + £1,127.50 Variable Days Allowance

Location: Halton Training Camp, Lancaster, LA2 6LW

Contract: Permanent, 37 hours p/w

Hours: 07:00 - 23:59 Monday - Sunday

What You'll Do

• Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• General building maintenance
• Basic grounds maintenance Stock management tasks
• Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
