Job summary

Landmarc is seeking a Site Operative to look after training estate facilities at Bodney Camp. Responsibilities include cleaning accommodation blocks, offices and communal areas, plus basic grounds and building maintenance, with stock and documentation duties as part of daily tasks.

The role is permanent, 37 hours per week (08:00–16:30 Mon–Thu, 08:00–16:00 Fri) at Bodney Camp, Thetford, Norfolk. A UK driving licence is essential due to the site’s rural location.

Qualifications

• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to complete documentation.
• Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet.
• Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential).

Responsibilities

• Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• General building maintenance.
• Basic grounds maintenance.
• Stock management tasks.
• Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems.
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed.

Job Introduction Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train. • Salary: £26,910.75
• Contract: Permanent, 37 hours p/w
• Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 Mon – Thurs, 08:00 – 16:00 Fri
