Landmarc Support Services is seeking a Site Operative to support Armed Forces training at Warcop Camp, Appleby-in-Westmorland. You will help maintain cleanliness, manage facilities, and assist with general grounds and building upkeep in a security-conscious environment.

Role requires basic IT use, documentation skills, and a valid UK driving licence. Forklift training is offered; shifts are Thursday and Friday, with some weekend work possible. Comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
• Ability to complete documentation.
• Basic IT skills with tablet use.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence due to rural site location.
• Forklift licence would be advantageous, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Look after the camp's general cleanliness and ensure it is fit for purpose.
• Handover and take back site facilities from facility users.
• Clean offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions and showers.
• Perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming.
• Work in a diverse multi-tasking mobile team environment.
• Operate and maintain plant equipment, including forklift (training provided).
• General building and grounds maintenance.
• Complete relevant documentation using IT and paper-based systems.
• Carry out any other requirements as needed.

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be predominately responsible for assisting with the Ammunition Stores , typical tasks will include dealing with service users, maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

Salary:£13.99 per hour

Shifts:Predominantly Thurs & Fri, 07:30 – 15:30 with occasional weekend shifts
