Landmarc is seeking a Site Operative to care for Training Estate facilities including accommodation blocks, grounds, and buildings to support Armed Forces training at West Tofts Camp. The role emphasises safety, compliance, and hands-on maintenance in a demanding, rural setting.

No previous experience required; a can-do attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged. IOSH certification is welcomed, with full training and career progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete compliance tasks on STANTA camps.
• Submit health and safety compliance reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure Training Estate facilities are fit for purpose.
• Perform general building maintenance.
• Carry out basic grounds maintenance.
• Operate and maintain training equipment (full training provided).
• Work within a diverse multi-tasking mobile team.
• Complete documentation using IT and paper systems.
• Carry out any additional duties as required.

Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

Role Details

• Salary: £26,910.75
• Contract: Permanent, 37 hours p/w
• Hours: 08:00 – 16:30, Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:00 Friday
• Location: West Tofts Camp, Thetford, Norfolk, IP26 5EP

What You’ll Do

• Completing compliance work tasks on STANTA camps
