Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead and develop a team of shift-based managers at one of our operational sites. You will manage performance, collaborate with HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and other support teams, and drive initiatives to improve efficiency and safety across the site.

Strong leadership and data-driven decision-making are essential. You’ll engage with cross-functional partners and mentor managers to build capability, sustain high service

Qualifications

• Experience in people management and stakeholder management.
• Experience in making data-driven business decisions.
• Fluent English (C1 level or above).
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Area Managers
• Lead operational teams on a shift, deal with issues, and positively impact site performance
• Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence
• Work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security
• Design and deliver initiatives across the sites to improve operational performance
