Job summary

Groves Health in New Malden is seeking a Site Manager to lead a busy NHS GP practice, delivering safe, patient-centred care while driving service improvement. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, ensure efficient day-to-day operations and maintain high standards of governance and compliance.

You'll work with clinical and operational leaders across Groves Health, manage facilities and IT, support payroll and HR processes, and contribute to wider organisational projects.

Qualifications

• Significant management experience within General Practice, Primary Care, or the NHS.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing day-to-day operations.
• Strong IT and data management skills, with performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring delivery of safe, effective patient services.
• Lead and develop administrative and reception teams, promoting a positive, high-performing culture.
• Manage workforce activities including recruitment, induction, performance, absence, wellbeing and training.
• Ensure compliance with CQC, NHS contractual requirements, GDPR, H&S and safeguarding policies.
• Lead investigations of complaints, incidents and ensure learning and improvement.
• Monitor practice performance and support QOF and contractual targets to maximise service quality.
• Collaborate with Partners, Senior Management Team and external organisations to support service development.
• Oversee governance, risk management, business continuity and quality assurance.
• Manage premises, facilities, IT systems and operational resources.
• Support payroll, pensions, workforce administration and financial processes with Finance/HR.
• Promote effective communication and regular team meetings; foster engagement and continuous improvement.
• Deputise for senior management and undertake other duties to support operation.
