Job summary

Dr.Dropin is seeking an adaptable GP Practice Lead to balance high-quality patient care with operational excellence and practical business growth. You will split your week between 2–3 days of direct patient care and 1 day of dedicated administrative time focused on practice governance, CQC compliance, and expanding our GP service offerings.

In this role, you will deliver excellent face-to-face clinical care while ensuring our practice runs smoothly, safely, and in full alignment with CQC

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and NHS Performers List.
• Practical knowledge of CQC standards and Caldicott Principles.
• Proficient with modern clinical software and governance dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice (2–3 days/week): Deliver consultations and review results, manage daily clinical queries, and oversee pathways such as GLP-1 repeats.
• CQC & Regulatory Compliance (0.5 day/week): Act as the CQC Registered Manager and Safeguarding Lead, coordinate inspections and incident investigations.
• GP Product & Operational Support (0.5 day/week): Develop GP-led services, line-manage GPs, coordinate rotas with Operations, and support governance frameworks.
