Contract Scotland is partnering with a well-established property development business to recruit an experienced Site Manager for an Inverness project. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensure safe delivery, and coordinate subcontractors to meet programme targets and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid understanding of construction processes, and qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager in construction or property development.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage subcontractors.
• SMSTS and CSCS qualifications are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed safely and in line with programme requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality control and site compliance.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and building regulations.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and relevant documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional to join a growing business and take responsibility for the successful delivery of a development in the Highlands.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.

Working closely with the wider project team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of the site, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress and ensuring programme targets are achieved.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a Site Manager role within the construction or property development sector.
• A strong understanding of construction processes, site management and health and safety requirements.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage subcontractors effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Relevant construction qualifications, including SMSTS and CSCS.
