Activus Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced construction professionals for permanent roles in Moray and Inverness-shire. We welcome candidates for Construction Project Manager and Site Manager positions, with leadership skills to drive projects safely and efficiently.

Ideal applicants will have a solid construction background, strong organisational abilities, and the capability to manage programmes, budgets and subcontractors. Immediate start dates are possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction project management, or site management.
• Construction Management or Supervision SVQ, or equivalent qualification.
• SMSTS certification.
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• CSCS Card at Manager level (or appropriate level for the position).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials and methods.
• Good leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience with project programming software such as Microsoft Project or ASTA (particularly for PM-level candidates).
• Knowledge of relevant building regulations, health and safety requirements and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organising and overseeing construction projects from commencement through to completion.
• Developing and monitoring project programmes, schedules and costs.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, design teams and clients.
• Managing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works progress to programme.
• Monitoring project progress, quality and productivity.
• Ensuring health and safety standards and site procedures are followed.
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders and the wider project team.
• Identifying and resolving issues, delays and potential project risks.
• Managing project documentation, permits and relevant approvals.
• Ensuring compliance with current building regulations and industry standards.
• Providing regular progress updates and reports to senior management.
• Leading, supporting and mentoring site teams where required.

We are currently looking to speak with experienced construction professionals for an exciting permanent opportunity covering the Moray and Inverness-shire areas.

We are keen to hear from candidates at various levels, including Construction Project Managers and experienced Site Managers.

This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to join an established construction team and play an important role in delivering projects successfully.
