Job summary

Contract Scotland is seeking an experienced Site Manager for permanent roles across Tayside. You will manage your own site or a section of a larger project, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key duties include day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and site personnel, maintaining health and safety, monitoring progress against programmes and addressing issues that may impact delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction sites for a main contractor.
• Strong understanding of site operations, programme management and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to lead site teams and maintain productive relationships with subcontractors.
• Proactive, practical approach to health and safety, quality and project delivery.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience across commercial, residential or student accommodation projects would be advantageous.

We're working with an established construction contractor with a strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming projects across Tayside, who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to support their continued workload.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business delivering a varied portfolio of construction projects, with the flexibility to take ownership of your own site or work as part of a larger project team.

The Role

Depending on the project, you'll be responsible for managing your own site or overseeing a section of a larger development, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

• Managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring programmes and milestones are achieved.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Monitoring progress against programme and addressing any issues that may impact delivery.

About You
