United Infrastructure Transmission & Distribution are recruiting for Site Engineer’s (Access and Enabling Works) with a Civils bias to join an Overhead Lines Project (OHL) in Inverness, Scotland. You will be focusing on supporting the team in enabling works phase of the overhead lines sites prior to tower assembly and erection.
As a Civils Site Engineer, you will oversee daily health & safety protocols for staff and subcontractors, report incidents, manage project resources, ensure compliance with safety standards, support the Construction and Project Managers with documentation and reporting, and coordinate effectively with all stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing team at United Infrastructure T&D, this role is site based on long term project based in Inverness supporting our client SSE.

The Role
Reporting to the OHL Construction Manager, you will be part of the Enabling Works and Access Roads team, coordinating foremen and sub-contractors while liaising with clients and third parties, and manage the setting People to Work process, including onboarding and site inductions with our program to support a growing workload across overhead lines (OHL). You will be contributing to the increased network capacity required to deliver the UK government's pathway to 2030 and the transition to net zero.
