Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Major Projects Construction Manager for a site-based role in Brixworth, Northants. You will lead diverse major highways and local authority schemes, coordinating clients, designers and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires Civil Engineering expertise, relevant certifications, and a proven track record in major project delivery within live environments.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Certifications: SMSTS, NEBOSH General/Construction, NRSWA Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Major Projects and Local Authority civil schemes from mobilisation to construction.
• Chair project meetings with clients, design teams, and site crews to ensure alignment and progress.
• Oversee site operations, contractor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure CDM compliance and NEC4 contract conditions across projects.
• Manage health, safety, environmental and quality management systems on site.
