Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Project Manager to join the Kier Places team in Berkshire/Wiltshire. The role is site-based with a 40-hour week and flexibility.

You will oversee end-to-end construction and refurbishment projects, coordinating with Business Development, Pre-Construction, Planning, Design Management, Operations, Health & Safety and Commercial teams. You will manage day-to-day project delivery, monitor subcontractors, and report on progress and financial status, ensuring quality, safety,

Qualifications

• Construction qualification at HND/Degree level or equivalent.
• Knowledge of main forms of contract including JCT and NEC.
• Competent in using Microsoft Office suite.
• Hold a Full driving licence, 5-day SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid Certificate.
• Collaborative and inclusive approach; focus on wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of assigned projects and teams to meet programme requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and prepare monthly progress reports.
• Work with the commercial team to report on financial status of projects.
• Ensure works meet quality standards and all safety procedures.
• Manage environmental compliance and waste management as per Kier policies.
