Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Project Manager in London to lead major highways infrastructure schemes on a contract basis. The role covers design management, feasibility reports, stakeholder engagement and works implementation across the area.

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager with experience in Major Projects within Highways Infrastructure to join a client in London on contract basis. You will be responsible for the delivery of major infrastructure schemes across the area as well as design management, feasibility reports, stakeholder management and works implementation. Other duties include cost reporting, tender procurement, community engagement, public liaison and consultant management.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £55 - £60 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Flexible working and working from home arrangements are available.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing a range of high profile highways, transport and public realm projects
• Delivering a range of cycling, walking and traffic programmes to encourage active/sustainable travel across the area
• Overseeing the work carried out by the designated design consultant and the contractor
• Ensuring the schemes are delivered to a high standard and within budget

Previous experience in Transport, Public Realm or Highways is essential for this role. Carrington West are also looking for Engineers and Technicians with similar backgrounds across the South of UK.
