Kier Group plc. is seeking a Senior Highways & Drainage Engineer to lead delivery of construction engineering services across highways and drainage, including temporary works.

You will mentor colleagues, shape innovative approaches, manage multidisciplinary teams, and build strong client relationships across Kier’s expansive UK portfolio. Based in locations across the UK with hybrid working and a busy project pipeline, the role focuses on safe, buildable solutions from concept through delivery,

Qualifications

• Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. IEng MICE) with relevant experience.
• Experienced in highways and drainage engineering with demonstrable technical expertise.
• Confident in leading design projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Skilled in temporary works design, checking, and providing technical solutions.
• Able to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Leading temporary works design and checking with a focus on highways and drainage solutions
• Providing tender and bid support including outline designs, feasibility studies and value engineering
• Managing design projects from remit development through to delivery, ensuring technical compliance
• Leading and organising the workload of engineers and technical staff within the design team
• Building strong client relationships and representing Kier at project meetings
