Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Site Agent to work on a Thames Water framework in East London. This role involves managing sub-contractors and engineers, overseeing quality control, and ensuring safety compliance. Candidates should have a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent, and while an SMSTS or SSSTS certification is beneficial, it is not essential. This position offers a great opportunity to work with a large tier 2 contractor focused on civils and water packages.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations is an asset.

Job description

Randstad CPE are looking for a Site Agent to work on a Thames Water framework in East London! You'll be working for a large tier 2 contractor civils and water packages. As a Site Agent you will need to assist with the construction strategy, this includes kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing the sub-contractors, engineers and delivery of work.
• Procurement / ordering of materials
• Quality Control of the works / Health and Safety
• Production of weekly rolling
• Providing support to site
• Management of site activities
• Progress reporting

Candidate Requirements

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
• SMSTS or SSSTS would be beneficial but not essential
